Tony's backround

From 1989 until 2007 Tony was a Director of the DCC owned Allied Foods & Logistics.  He was one of the senior management team who formed Allied through a Management Buyout in 1989.  Allied are leading operators in the frozen and chilled food business through the provision of logistics services to some of Ireland’s major players in the food industry.  They also operate a significant wholesaling and distribution business.

During his time as a Director of Allied he was involved in a wide range of organisational issues across the full spectrum of business from strategy formulation through to service delivery.  He has extensive experience of the ongoing pressures of organisational life and is particularly interested in leadership and its challenges in the organisational context.

Tony holds an MBA from the Open University Business School, a Postgraduate Diploma in Coaching Psychology from Leeds Metropolitan University and an MA in Business & Executive Coaching.  He is qualified in the use of the Myers Briggs Typology Instrument and certified in the use of the Leadership Development Profile and has used these very successfully in coaching assignments.  He is Chair of the MBA Association of Ireland, Southern Chapter and a member of the European Coaching and Mentoring Council.
